Beate Reifenscheid
Beate Reifenscheid, born in Gelsenkirchen in 1961, studied in Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum and Complutense University of Madrid. After receiving her doctorate in 1988, she was Collections Manager and did research on contemporary art and media at the Saarland Museum in Saarbrücken. She has been the director of the Ludwig Museum since 1997, and planned and organized several important international contemporary art exhibitions. Put Away ∧

Christian Saehrendt
Christian Saehrendt was born on January 29 1968 in Kassel, Germany. He studied at Hamburger Hochschule für bildende Künste, later at Humboldt-Universit?t Berlin and at Ruprecht-Karls-Universit?t Heidelberg. In Heidelberg he also received his Ph. D. on art history in 2002. He’s been doing research and planning about contemporary art for a long time. He used to participate in Kassel Documenta several times. Currently, he is doing review on art history and contemporary art. He wrote several books such as “Understanding Modern Art”, “Modern Art”, etc.
